ENNIS HOUSE
Textile block
Los Angeles, CA (1923-1924)
Frank Lloyd Wright designed the Ennis house, the last of his textile block- houses, for Charles and Mabel Ennis on their half-acre lot near the Santa Monica Mountains. True to his organic philosophies, Wright created the Ennis house to complement the hillside surroundings. Its picturesque quality has inspired many directors.
