This design comes from the center panel of an art glass window in the Avery Coonley Playhouse. The original window incorporates many bright colors, and Frank Lloyd Wright was said to have been inspired by the balloons, flags, and confetti of a parade. This design is recognized as one of his most important decorative achievements.
