HEURTLEY HOUSE
COTTON AFGHAN
Frank Lloyd Wright designed the Arthur Heurtley House in Oak Park, Illinois, very early in his career (1902). Fifty years later, he still considered it “one of my best.” Among its many distinctive features was a floor runner with a striking geometric pattern. Adapted from Wright’s creation, our “heurtley House” afghan repeats a detail from the original runner.
